Smartphones equipped with Google Android can download the app «STIB» to consult the next departures in real-time as well as the timetables. With the localization function it is child’s play to find the nearest stop. The localization function which enables you to find the nearest stop together with the real-time information allows you to plan your journey on our lines on the spot.

The «STIB»-app is available for free in the Android Market which comes standard with all Android phones and offers numerous applications.

If you have a mobile phone with internet access, then m.stib.be will offer you different kinds of applications depending on the functions supported by your phone:

  • real-time position of the vehicles and next departures
  • timetables
  • location of nearby stops
  • traffic information (works, diversions, etc)

If you wish to plan a journey, then you will be redirected to Google Maps which shows every STIB line. In the future it will be possible to use our own journey planner which will take into account the traffic situation in real-time, alert you if a line is disrupted and propose an alternative route.
